Information We Collect

HomePanelCheck collects information you voluntarily provide through our contact form. Our load calculator runs entirely in your browser to compute your results — we never see or store your specific inputs (square footage, appliance details, or any information that could identify your home or address).

If you have accepted cookies, we do collect limited, aggregate, anonymous usage data about the calculator via Google Analytics: the panel size you selected, the general result category (e.g. "fits," "upgrade needed"), and which appliance types you checked. This is sent only after you accept cookies, is not linked to your identity, and is used solely to understand aggregate trends — for example, what percentage of visitors with 100A panels are told they need an upgrade for EV charging — which may inform future site content. It is never sold or shared with third parties beyond Google Analytics' standard processing. See our Editorial Policy for how aggregate findings may be published.

We use Google Analytics (ID: G-VZEG7XM033) to understand aggregate traffic patterns. Google Analytics only loads after you click Accept on the cookie banner.

Cookies and Advertising

We display advertisements through Google AdSense. You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings.

Contact Form Data

Information submitted through our contact form is processed by Formspree and may be shared with licensed electrical contractors in your area for the purpose of providing project quotes. We do not sell your personal information.

Data Retention

Contact form submissions are retained for up to 12 months. Request deletion: rtsuggests@gmail.com

Children's Privacy

HomePanelCheck is not directed at children under 13.
